CREW New Mexico recently sent one of its largest groups of members to the CREW Network Convention and Marketplace in San Diego, California. CREW New Mexico was represented by Michelle Franks (Studio Southwest Architects), Keri Stewart (Results 4 Business), Amy Townsley (Steamatic), Jeannie Randolph (Brio Brokers), Alex Pulliam (Enterprise Builders), Dawn Beck (Bank of Albuquerque), Shelly Branscom (NAI Maestas & Ward), Heather Fox (Wells Fargo), and Bobbie Collins (Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie).
2019 President and chapter delegate Michelle Franks, Board member Alex Pulliam, and member Bobbie Collins arrived a day early to attend the CREW Network Fall Leadership Summit. They learned how to engage members by creating a variety of events held at different times, and have better follow up after events. Presenters emphasized using skill building with learning to encourage involvement through “micro jobs” that are done once and completed. Michelle, Alex, and Bobbie also had the opportunity to take a picture with CREW Network CEO Wendy Mann and CREW Network Foundation Chair Christine Gorham, and celebrated the Chapter’s having met the Foundation Chapter Challenge.
Following the summit, all attendees enjoyed a packed hall at the Marketplace and gathered information from a multitude of CREW Network sponsors. During the course of the Convention, members attended inspirational and educational sessions from speakers including Alison Levine (Team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition), Hessam Nadji (President and CEO, Marcus & Millichap), and Robin Roberts (Co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America). Attendees were invigorated in particular by the sessions on blockchain, augmented reality, experiential retail, and consumer driven cities! Check out visual murals of several of the sessions here
CREW New Mexico is already looking forward to sending a large group to another great convention next year September 25-27 in Orlando, Florida!
